A New .ANATOMY.

Sooo we decided to think outside “The Box” and redecorate the store. Since the stores were inside of a self-made box, I had to make that joke. Lame? Oh well. lol. Anyway, I got inspired to do a makeover of the store and property after some inspiration and a little push from one of my new friends and owner of Fappy!, Lulu. So Abe & I tore down the walls and made the parcel into a fun, summer themed friendly place. After touring everything that Lulu had put together at her hangout/store parcel, I really got on the ball and went shopping for some new deco and brainstormed some ideas. FYI: You can find more than just apparel & tats @ Fappy!…use the teleporters and check out the pretty places that Lulu has put together. They are picture perfect and adorable..but if you do visit please be respectful and mindful of her land as with any place that welcomes you with open arms. :)

Favorite Friday: Meme

Soo this meme came to me last night when I was cleaning up my inventory a little. It’s crazy when you happen to dig so deep into the depths of your scary inventory what you can come across. In my case, I came across some sculpted skirts. AHHH! Now don’t get me wrong, sculpts had their day when they rocked the grid, however, with every passing day technology and gaming become more advanced and with a good goal too…to make our experience here on earth easier and more stress free…and the same applies to Second Life. Mesh is the leading advancement in SL atm but before that we must not forget the passing breakthroughs that made our SL even more stylish than ever which included prim skirts and sculpts. Did you know that sculpted items can easily be made into mesh? Pretty damn cool huh. To appreciate the growing technology such as mesh we have to appreciate the older things that lead us to this very breakthrough.

I decided to go through and delete a lot and most of my sculpted things due to lag and inventory overload. I even decided to delete EVERY Truth hair that was made from prims. In a way it is bittersweet getting rid of these things that once brought me so much joy but it also a step forward into a better SL grid! Soo to get to the Meme, I decided to name off a few of my favorite stores by category. If I would have made this list a year or even 6 months ago, it would have been completely different. Nea

Have you been to the Skin Fair yet? Well Umm…it starts TODAY!. There are soo many fantastic releases this year, I promise you want to get there ASAP.

I have two favorite releases at this years fair. One I am blogging about now. :)

I would like to introduce to you, Nea, the first Hybrid mesh avatar from Snow Leopard. Nea is mostly menu driven and she comes in 5 skin tones. Included with the pack is The Mesh head, Skins to match the tone you bought, Makeup options, Eye color options, Mascara Options, Eyeshadow options, Lipstick Options, and many different ways to animate Nea. Her blink and smile are contagious and absolutely adorable. Never before have I seen such a youthful look on an avatar until I found Nea.

One thing you do have know, Unlike the awesome LOGO Hybrid mesh avatars, Nea is not only the head but also the collarbone. So, be aware that you cannot wear certain texture clothes with her as the mesh will cover the layer. That was my only downfall with Nea, as I am a HUGE creator of lingerie. But I have played with her for a few days before she was released and got to experiment with her to give you all a proper review. That is the only downfall I found with Nea, and that is just a personal opinion since I do wear a good bit of texture bras.

That being said, Nea was one of my favorites this year and I will be wearing her for months to come!

Gacha Madness!!!

Yay! I am so happy to be back. I had so many deadlines to meet with .ANATOMY. such as The Second Annual Whore Couture Fair, Perfect Wardrobe, and The Luck of the Irish Gatcha Fair. Although .ANATOMY. does not part take in the Arcade Gacha event, which takes place every 3 months, I have been spending a ton of time there and also a ton of Linden :P . Shame on me right? I did get everything I wanted for the most part though. I am wearing some things below that I got there, including a few RARE items!
