Soo AngelRED Couture has been releasing new templates like crack in da hood! (Yea you can slap me for the “hood” slang Lexi :P ) One of my favorites are these new jeans which are , in fact, texture jeans. I cannot express how much I still love texture jeans. Nea

Have you been to the Skin Fair yet? Well Umm…it starts TODAY!. There are soo many fantastic releases this year, I promise you want to get there ASAP.

I have two favorite releases at this years fair. One I am blogging about now. :)

I would like to introduce to you, Nea, the first Hybrid mesh avatar from Snow Leopard. Nea is mostly menu driven and she comes in 5 skin tones. Included with the pack is The Mesh head, Skins to match the tone you bought, Makeup options, Eye color options, Mascara Options, Eyeshadow options, Lipstick Options, and many different ways to animate Nea. Her blink and smile are contagious and absolutely adorable. Never before have I seen such a youthful look on an avatar until I found Nea.

One thing you do have know, Unlike the awesome LOGO Hybrid mesh avatars, Nea is not only the head but also the collarbone. So, be aware that you cannot wear certain texture clothes with her as the mesh will cover the layer. That was my only downfall with Nea, as I am a HUGE creator of lingerie. But I have played with her for a few days before she was released and got to experiment with her to give you all a proper review. That is the only downfall I found with Nea, and that is just a personal opinion since I do wear a good bit of texture bras.

That being said, Nea was one of my favorites this year and I will be wearing her for months to come!

Panda Art

I found this really cool sim today although I know it is not a new piece of art, it is new to me and hopefully some of you. Torell Nederland  is a sim consisting of a series of art pieces which are mostly inspired by Van Gogh. These 3d replications are breathtaking and super fun to take sim shots at. Not only consisting of Van Gogh, there are also galleries of poetry, painting, and photography from the Bauhaus culture. I took two UNEDITED shots of one of my favorite pieces below. Check this place out for some beautiful shots.

My outfit today was inspired by the sim itself. I took some dark colors and contrasted them with some super white hues like these leggings from Maitreya. I am also wearing some super new items from SimpleCandy, a product of AngelRed, which is one of the leading template shops here in SL. I absolutely LOVE this mesh panda hat with attached hair. The hair comes in many different colors so make sure you get them all to match everything in you wardrobe!

Hottie Hits The Forest

Sooo after hitting and strangling my brain for over an hour, I decided to find a sim to take this photo in instead of a solid color background, which I have been doing lately. *coughs* slacker. I love finding and exploring the beauty of other resident’s view of beauty which they put in their sim creations. Just a tip: if you are totally clueless how to find some awesome sims to snap some shots, go to search then hit destination guide. You can also go to the drop down menu from destination guide and click on photogenic spots. Any hooo, that is how I found this lovely sim. The look of my avi didn’t suite the sim, however, I think that it turned out different and super cute! What are some of your favorite sims?

Upon browsing the Marketplace yesterday I found a store called “Remarkable Oblivian” that makes original mesh. Now I must say, this store is not new since it was established in 2005, but I REALLY want to share it with you and hope that you find some awesome things there like I did. They have super cute accessories which I haven’t seen on any avi yet. So, get your little (or big) booty’s down to their Mainstore or Marketplace.

The new Summer Love Collection at Mons is gorgeous. The symmetry of this mesh top from the S.L. Collection is super flattering and I love the creamy bright colors.
